National Monument Camp Vught

Is a memorial place with a museum about the concentration camp Camp Vught during the Second World War. The museum contains an indoor and outdoor area. The permanent and temporary exhibitions, the memorial room and the reaction wall can be seen in the memorial center. The museum is open daily from April to September. The museum is closed on Mondays from October to March.

Sint-Michielsgestel hydroelectric power station

With the support of about 500 cooperative members, the first cooperative hydroelectric power station in the Netherlands was realized in 2016 in the Dommel near Sint-Michielsgestel. This plant supplies more than 170 households with green electricity. From De Ruwenberg you can walk upstream along the Dommel and visit the hydroelectric power station. A soothing walk combined with something unique and educational!
